Who said being a student was easy? Going to school in today's modern world is a lot more than just doing your homework and passing tests. A student today must work to be honorable, academically focused, and knowledge seeking. If this sounds like someone you want to be, join AVID! AVID students develop writing, organization, research, collaboration, and reading skills to help them become lifelong learners. Our goal at Yorba is to build a learning community between you and your classmates. We want you to have classmates you know and can rely on to help you now and in the future. AVID also helps to prepare you as a college bound student. We value the importance of higher education and want you to benefit from it! Join us and prepare yourself for your next, big academic steps!
