Principal's Message
Welcome to Taft Elementary School, Home of the Tigers! I am thrilled to be continuing with this amazing staff and community as the Principal of Taft. I cannot wait to see all the students, families and community members as the year comes to a start.
I am a born and bred Orange County resident and a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology. I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Cross-cultural Teaching from National University. I spent two years teaching 8th grade and ten years teaching 6th grade, with most of that being in the math and science classes. I came to Orange Unified School District in 2011 and have been the Assistant Principal at all three of the amazing middle schools in our district since that time. I am excited to continue working with our fantastic staff and our supportive community here at Taft Elementary!
My goal at Taft is to be available to our students, staff and families and to work together to provide a safe, productive, learning environment where kids are excited to be at school and they are engaged in activities that challenge them to grow as learners. I encourage any and all ideas that support kids and their learning process. I am here to serve this community and I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at Taft if we can help in any way.
