Rewarding students for being Respectful, Responsible and Ready is essential in making Prospect School’s management system work. Prospect School is proud of this program. Teachers have their own reward system in their classroom. Rewards may include: encouragement, praise, positive phone calls home, reward recesses, special class activities, and awards and certificates.
In addition to the classroom awards, Prospect has many Academic and Citizenship Awards to honor students who are courteous and productive. These are awarded at assemblies or during school-wide announcements. Students are recognized on a wall of fame in the library with their progress on Reading Counts points. At the end of the year students earn reading medals based on points accumulated.
Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) Tickets also known as Eureka! Tickets:
Students in Kinder-6th grades earn ‘Eureka’ tickets for being Ready, Respectful and Responsible. Students may use their Eureka tickets to purchase items from the Eureka Store every other Friday.
