Principal's Message

Welcome to Prospect Elementary School! We are proud to be a place where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program is at the heart of our school culture. We encourage every student to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready—values that guide their learning, behavior, and interactions every day.

Our classrooms are led by highly trained teachers and dedicated support staff who are committed to ensuring that each child reaches their fullest potential. We integrate AVID strategies schoolwide to help students develop the skills, organization, and mindset they need to be successful now and in the future.

As a community school, we value strong partnerships with families. We offer parent English classes, workshops, and resources to support learning at home and strengthen our school-family connection. Our campus is alive with opportunities for students beyond the classroom, including gardening, soccer, robotics, YMCA, and Strategic Kids programs. These activities inspire creativity, teamwork, and curiosity.

We are fortunate to have a kind, caring staff who build meaningful relationships with students and families, creating a welcoming school environment. Our School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) are strong parent groups that help guide our school’s goals and priorities.

Together, we create a learning community where every child can succeed, every voice is valued, and every day is a step toward a bright future.

Sincerely,

Erika Krohn
Principal
