YMCA ASES S.T.A.R Program

https://ymcaoc.org/child-care-enrollment-form/

The YMCA's ASES program is offered to all students at Prospect Elementary at no cost; when space is available.  The program provides participants with academic enrichment including homework assistance, hands-on learning, and recreational activities, academic  clubs, and STEAM hands-on activities. Students are also exposed to music, theater, art, science, and life skills.  The program runs every day that school is in session from dismissal time to 6:00 pm.

Students are served a nutritious snack that conforms to the Nutritional Standards established     in Education Code Section 49430. OUSD’s Nutrition Services supplies the snacks.

Open registration is usually around Mid-May, on a first-come, first-served basis. Our capacity is only 80 students.  Parents who are interested in joining the ASES program can contact the Site Director to enroll or to be placed on the wait list if the program is full. As spots become available, those students on the wait list will be contacted.

Please contact Melissa Garcia for more information concerning enrollment.
