OUSD EDGE Virtual Academy

YES. Our course offerings include A-G approved courses, AP/Honors and Lab Sciences. Our goal is to have your student be able to reach their educational goals beyond high school.

NO. Once COVID restrictions are lifted and it is deemed safe to return to in person instruction the school will roll out a plan for safe re-entry.

Students is Kinder through 6th grade will utilize district adopted applications, Google Classroom being the main application. 

Our students in 7th through 12th grades will use the APEX Learning system (https://www.apexlearning.com). 

YES. Our campus will feature a student lounge where students can complete assignments, gain access to technology or collaborate with teachers and other students. At this time this will not be a one to one program. However, students can check out computers to take home if needed.

The EDGE Virtual Academy will be held at the Parkside Education Center at 250 South Yorba in the city of Orange. On campus there will be three dedicated rooms for our staff and students. The rooms will include teacher office space, a learning lab, and a student lounge.

YES. Students will be able to participate in sports at their home school and enroll in EDGE Virtual Academy.
