History

Olive Elementary is a Transitional Kindergarten through Sixth Grade school of approximately 430 students and thirty-five staff members. The school is situated on a historical site which has consistently housed various elementary schools since 1876. The gymnasium has been designated a historical landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Olive School was re-opened by the Orange Unified School District in September 1999 and has been serving the families of Orange since that time. In 2019, Olive Elementary became the only AVID Elementary Showcase School in the Orange Unified School District.
