Orange High School opened its present campus in 1953. The oldest OUSD high school, it is now 60 years old.
Five buildings and 28 portables were identified as needing major renovation or demolition.
It was projected that without facilities enhancements, the remaining two buildings would also need major renovation or demolition within 10 years.
