CELL PHONE/ COMMUNICATION DEVICE POLICY
Cell phones and/or communication devices, including smartwatches, MUST be turned off and kept out of sight during the school day. Smartwatches should be set to School Mode. If a student needs to contact a parent or guardian during school hours, they must report to the office for assistance.
If a student is found using a cell phone or communication device during school hours, the device will be confiscated and taken to the office. A parent or guardian will be required to pick up the device after school. Repeated violations may result in the loss of the privilege to bring communication devices to school.
McPherson Magnet School is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen devices on campus.
No Cell Phone or device use is allowed from GATE to GATE.
