La Veta is ready for a new school year! The teachers and staff are central to the success of this school, but the future success of our school depends upon our ability to work together for the betterment of our students  For example, the stakeholders who volunteer on committees such as School Site Council (SSC), English Language Acquisition Committee (ELAC), and Parent Teacher Association (PTA), help La Veta Elementary School grow and thrive.  

Our goal is to continue providing a positive and safe learning environment for all students. The school climate is enhanced through its special programs, assemblies, and activities; many of which are sponsored by fundraising efforts of our PTA. La Veta Elementary School is a place where children feel safe while learning. This allows us to maintain high expectations for all students. 

We look forward to continuing to foster these partnerships while watching these Vikings SAIL into a bright future!
