K-12 Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year
 

Open Enrollment is for students who would like to attend a school other than their home school, assigned based upon their area of residence. You may find your "home" school by looking up your address at SchoolLocator at http://apps.schoolsitelocator.com/?districtcode=57964.

Open Enrollment will reopen on Monday, February 5

School sites will have computers available for your convenience. Fill out your online application and submit one application per school site. You may submit the online open enrollment application to as many school sites as you like. The online applications for Open Enrollment will close on January 29, 2024, at 4:00 P.M., and will re-open February 5, 2024. School sites will hold their lottery and notify families of their lottery number, beginning February 2, 2024. Parents may accept or deny the space offered. If the parent denies the acceptance, the school site will move on to the next person on the list and parents may not change their mind once they have denied their acceptance.

La Inscripción Abierta es para estudiantes que deseen asistir a una escuela que no sea su escuela de origen, asignada en función de su área de residencia. Usted puede encontrar su escuela "hogar" buscando su dirección en SchoolLocator en http://apps.schoolsitelocator.com/?districtcode=57964.

La Inscripción Abierta se reabrirá el lunes 5 de febrero

Los sitios escolares tendrán computadoras disponibles para su conveniencia. Complete su solicitud en línea, puede enviar una solicitud por sitio escolar. Usted puede enviar múltiples solicitudes de inscripción abierta en línea a los sitios escolares que desee. Las solicitudes en línea para la inscripción abierta se cerrarán el 29 de enero de 2024 a las 4:00 p.m. Se volverán a abrir el 5 de febrero de 2024. Los sitios escolares realizarán su lotería y notificarán a las familias de su número de lotería, a partir del 2 de febrero de 2024. Los padres pueden aceptar o negar el espacio ofrecido. Si el padre niega la aceptación, el sitio de la escuela pasará a la siguiente persona en la lista y los padres no pueden cambiar de opinión una vez que hayan negado su aceptación.

McPherson Magnet School 

McPherson Magnet School, an OUSD K-8 Magnet School, is open to all OUSD resident students (should you qualify for the Allen Bill - employee related interdistrict transfers - you must first obtain a release from your district of residence. The release must be taken to the principal of McPherson Magnet School prior to the lottery orientation. Students interested in attending McPherson Magnet School must participate in a lottery.  In order to participate in the lottery at McPherson Magnet School (K-8), families will need to attend one of the orientation meetings at McPherson Magnet School.
