At the Board of Education meeting on March 2, the Trustees voted to move forward with a Request for Proposals and Qualifications from Executive Search Firms for the position of District Superintendent to seek a qualified consultant to provide assistance with a nationwide search of candidates for the position of Orange Unified School District Superintendent of Schools.
Consultants were invited to present their proposals to the Board at the open public meeting held on April 3, 2023. After considering two finalist firms at its April 13, 2023, Board meeting, the Board opted to take no action. Should the Board choose to select a firm, the search for a new District Superintendent will begin shortly thereafter.
