Candidates for all teaching positions must possess English Learner certification. The Orange Unified School District offers a state approved BTSA/Induction program that provides employees with the opportunity to obtain a Professional Clear Credential. It is the expectation that all "new to District" employees participate in the Orange Unified School District BTSA/Induction Program as appropriate to their credential or employment.

Promotional Recruitments:
These vacancies are open to Current District Applicants Only --
Permanent employees and probationary employees who have served in their probationary period for at least six months or 130 days of actual service, whichever is longer may apply if qualified.
Transfers:
Employees may request a Voluntary Transfer, Lateral Transfer and Voluntary Demotion by responding in writing to a job posting through the EDJOIN Online application.
Open Recruitments:
These vacancies are open to any applicant. 
Salary is listed at Option C - for employees hired after July 1, 1992.
 

NOTE: Clerical positions require a typing test. 
You must provide proof of a OUSD Typing Test by the final filing date of the recruitment. No other typing test will be accepted. 

State law requires employees to be fingerprinted. All candidates must receive clearance from the 
Department of Justice/FBI, prior to employment.
