Leroy Montoya, Payroll Technician, Business Services is the Outstanding Customer Service recipient for the month of February.

Sharon Davis, Payroll Manager had this to say about Leroy: Leroy is a perfect example of great customer service.  He is always friendly and easy going.  His mild manner permits him to deal with even the most stressful and difficult situations with tact, respect, and dignity.  As he models servant leadership he goes above and beyond providing customer support.  The office joke is if an employee walks in our door, Leroy is the person they want to see or speak to…which certainly is a testament to his interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.  We can always count on him and Leroy is a great asset to my Payroll Team and to Orange USD.

Alex Zamora, AP Secretary, El Modena HS had this to say about Leroy: I started a new position in August and was very overwhelmed with payroll, I didn’t think I would be able to learn it in such short time. The very first time I walked into payroll Leroy greeted me with a smile and a welcoming attitude, he sat down with me and spent time out of his day to walk me through the process. At any time, any day, I can call Leroy with a question and he’s on the other line ready and willing to help with a great attitude. He goes above and beyond his duties on a daily basis and does so with a smile on his face. Leroy is an amazing asset to Orange Unified and deserves to be recognized for all the work he does.

Congratulations, Leroy! The Board of Education thanks you for your dedication and devotion to the Orange Unified School District.
