Developer Fees
Developer Fees are fees imposed on new residential and commercial development in accordance with California Education Code Section 17620. These fees are used to help fund the construction and modernization of school facilities needed to accommodate growth within the District.
Orange Unified School District collects Developer Fees for applicable projects within its boundaries. All applicants are required to complete the intake process and schedule an appointment prior to payment.
Follow the steps below to complete your developer fee payment.
Step 1: Complete Developer Fee Intake Form
Prior to scheduling an appointment, all applicants are required to complete the Developer Fee Intake Form. This allows our office to review your project and provide an estimated fee amount.
Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
Applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment after submitting the intake form to ensure timely service. Walk-in service may be limited based on availability.
