The Orange Unified School District Transportation Vehicle Maintenance Department has provided safe transportation for many years. This department is led by Mario Garcia, Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, and is supported by five qualified technicians. Following proper preventative maintenance schedules is one of the many key factors that remains a top priority to safely transport our students. In doing so, we currently service 116 school buses in our fleet with over 64 years of school bus and transit experience combined amongst our technicians.  

We are also honored and privileged to be recognized in the 2008 School Transportation News magazine. The magazine features our District on the front cover and includes an article to recognize our superior excellence in providing safe transportation and following proper procedures in the area specific to preventative maintenance.  

Our District has received a satisfactory rating on all annual CHP terminal inspections since 1989. The passion and dedication that we exhibit has allowed us to continue making the students of Orange Unified School District our #1 priority. As many in the industry would say, “We bleed yellow!”
