Principal's Message

Dear Bobcats,

As I begin my third year as principal, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. Each year, we continue to build on the strong foundation of community, collaboration, and care that makes our school such a special place for students to grow.

This year, we remain focused on two key priorities: organization and individualized learning. We believe that when students are well-organized and have clear structures in place, they are more confident, focused, and ready to learn. That’s why you’ll continue to see school-wide systems—like color-coded folders and uniform binders—to help students stay on track and develop lifelong habits for success.

At the same time, we know that every child learns in their own unique way. Our teachers are dedicated to providing learning experiences that are responsive, engaging, and tailored to the needs of each student. From small group instruction to project-based learning, our goal is to ensure that every Bobcat is seen, supported, and challenged at just the right level.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and community during last year’s Jog-A-Thon, we are thrilled to continue offering, B.U.M.P. (Bobcats Ultimate Music Program) a dedicated music program for our TK-3rd grade students and PE instruction for all students. These enrichment opportunities not only support physical and creative development, but also bring joy and energy to our school day.

Thank you for your continued partnership. I look forward to another amazing year of growth, joy, and learning together!

Warmest regards,

Michael Higgins, Principal
