Volunteer Training Requirements

Volunteer applications will be completed on the Raptor site:

Step 1: Volunteers will complete an application on Raptor. The questions on the application will determine what paperwork they will need to submit with their application.

      i. Volunteers who work five hours or more per week - Volunteers who work five hours or more per week must complete the required Keenan Trainings, a TB test, and obtain a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations. Volunteers are responsible for all associated costs.

      ii. Volunteers who work less than five hours per week - Volunteers who work less than five hours per week must complete the required Keenan Trainings. Please note that volunteers must have all their documents ready to load prior to initiating the Raptor application process.

Step 2: HR will process the application, and the volunteer will be added to the Raptor site list of cleared volunteers.

Step 3: Principals will determine participation of volunteers listed as cleared by HR in their queue.

Step 4. Please be reminded that Volunteers are not to commence their duties until clearance has been received from Human Resources and they have been authorized to volunteer by site administrators.

Step 5. Updates to the volunteer process will be provided as they become available.
