November 2020 Employee of the Month - Congratulations to Bill Hein, Senior Maintenance Specialist/Carpenter at Maintenance & Operations

“YOU’VE GOT THE EDGE” Employee of the Month Recognition program has been designed with the District’s Core Values in mind.  This program encourages outstanding customer service in the workplace in fulfillment of the District’s new Strategic Plan. It increases awareness of the goals and values as well as the importance and significance of outstanding performance.

Congratulations Bill! Bill goes above and beyond to serve the staff, students, and community of Orange Unified. He always greets everyone with a positive attitude and takes time to help anyone that needs his assistance.

Tony Nequette, Director, Maintenance & Operations had this to say about Bill: “Bill has gone above and beyond during the current crisis. He has been unwavering in his devotion to getting our schools ready to open safely for our staff and students. He organized the critical deliveries of protective plexiglass shields ahead of schedule and built custom guards where they needed for our school and district sites. There is no question that he is very deserving of this award.”
