Lisa Hedspeth, ASB/AVID/Cheer Advisor at Villa Park High School, was recognized by Assistant Principal Atikah Osman with an EDGE Challenge Coin for exemplifying the Core Values of Respect and Excellence.

Atikah Osman had this to say about Lisa:

Ms. Lisa Hedspeth demonstrates RESPECT and EXCELLENCE in all areas that she serves at Villa Park High School. As the ASB director, she has gone above and beyond to coordinate student activities in the first quarter to ensure that our Spartans are still experiencing the excitement of student life in high school, with virtual spirit weeks, elections, and drive-through Student of the Month celebrations. As our new AVID coordinator, Ms. Hedspeth is breathing new life into the program, setting high expectations for our staff and students, and getting our kiddos excited about college and future careers. As the head cheer coach, Ms. Hedspeth is continuing our tradition of excellence here at Sparta by gearing up our cheer team to becoming back to back CIF champions! Ms. Hedspeth does all this at Villa Park while still extending a helping hand to her colleagues and administrators.We are SO blessed to have her as a Spartan leader!
