Congratulations to Portola Middle School, awarded a Middle Schools Foundational Academies Grant (MSFA)! This prestigious program supports schools in establishing academies that prepare students for high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways at the local high school.

This grant will enable Portola to create a new middle school CTE Business and Finance class. This exciting coursework is being developed in partnership with the Department of Economics at California State University of Fullerton, ensuring a solid foundation for our students before they enter the CTE Business Management Pathway at Orange High School.

The California Department of Education, MSFA grant program, is a fantastic opportunity for Portola to equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen career paths.
