To the Orange Unified School District Community,
On March 22, 2024, two vacancies were created on the Orange Unified School District Board of Education for Trustee area four (#4) and Trustee area seven (#7).
The Trustee vacancies will be filled by provisional appointment. Provisionally appointed Board members hold the office until the next regularly scheduled election per Education Code section 5091(e)), unless terminated by petition per Education Code section 5091(c)). Beginning April 12th through April 26, 2024, the Board will be accepting applications to fill these positions. Candidates should make themselves available for an interview with the Board which is tentatively planned for May 2, 2024 (subject to change).
Completed applications will be accepted during regular business hours. To be considered as a candidate, the completed application must be received in the District Office by 4:00 pm on April 26, 2024, in person at the Superintendent’s office or by email to cerich@orangeusd.org.
