Canyon High School Visual Arts Students Featured in COLOR IT ORANGE Art Exhibit

ORANGE, CA – April 4 2022 – Canyon High School visual arts students, taught by Kathy Flanagan-Rose, will be featured in the 47th Annual COLOR IT ORANGE exhibition at Laguna College of Art + Design (LCAD). This exhibit will showcase a variety of original works from Orange County high school students from April 7-24. Color it Orange is one of the longest-running collaborative exhibitions between a college and Orange County high schools. The goal is to inspire and encourage the next generation of artistic expression and to honor teachers by providing the opportunity to showcase works by their most talented students.

LCAD will host an opening reception to provide special recognition and to announce scholarships for these talented student artists. Gallery admission is always free.

 

Laguna College of Art and Design  47th Annual Color It Orange - Orange County High School Exhibition

 

ORANGE, CA – 4 de abril, 2022-Los estudiantes de artes visuales de la secundaria Canyon, enseñados por Kathy Flanagan-Rose, serán presentados en la exposición anual 47 de Coloréalo Naranja (COLOR IT ORANGE) en El Colegio de Arte y Diseño Laguna (LCAD). Esta exhibición mostrará una variedad de obras originales de estudiantes de la escuela secundaria del Condado de Orange del 7 al 24 de abril. Coloréalo Naranja es una de las exhibiciones colaborativas de mayor duración entre una universidad y las escuelas secundarias del Condado de Orange. El objetivo es inspirar y alentar a la próxima generación de expresión artística y honrar a los maestros al brindarles la oportunidad de exhibir los trabajos de sus alumnos más talentosos.

LCAD organizará una recepción de apertura para brindar un reconocimiento especial y anunciar becas para estos talentosos estudiantes artistas. La entrada a la galería siempre es gratuita.
