NOTICE: Tree Removal on Taft Avenue at VPHS This Saturday

Please be advised that several trees will be removed on Taft Avenue in front of Villa Park High School this Saturday, February 29, AFTER the Little League Parade.

This work is in preparation for the reconstruction of the parking lot and pick up/drop off area that will take place this summer. The contractor, ACI, is beginning demolition and other preparations to ensure the work can be completed in time for the new 2020-21 school year. Construction fencing (no windscreen) will also be placed in front of the school in the demolition areas for the safety of our students and community members.

The District will be planting new landscape, trees and restoring the rose garden during the renovation process.

Access to the parking lot and pick up/drop off areas will not be affected by the demolition work until Summer Break in June.
