We are aware of the disconcerting messages/statements regarding Orange and Villa Park High Schools that began circulating on social media last night. Local law enforcement has investigated and the Orange Police Department and Orange County Sheriff Department have determined that the messages/statements are fabricated and there is no credible threat to any of our schools.

All threats to student safety are taken extremely seriously and all participants will be held accountable for their actions. At Orange Unified, student safety is of the highest priority.
