Measure S Update - Sept. 2019

The El Modena High School and Orange High School Science Center projects are both gearing up for structural steel fabrication. Orange High School’s south pavilion area near the new snack bar was upgraded with new concrete flat work and seat walls. All utility infrastructure work in the fire lanes at Orange HS and El Modena HS were also completed in August.

ACI (general contractor) completed excavation of the building pad for the Villa Park High School Science Center. Work was completed in the quad area over the summer months to extend site utility infrastructure.

Canyon High School's Science Center continues in early stages, with the demolition completion of the quad area and the amphitheater. The interim kitchen is under construction and will be ready for occupancy in October. The interim kitchen will serve as the main food service area until the renovation of the existing administration building in 2021. The existing kitchen will be utilized until the interim kitchen is in place.
