Orange High School advances to state football championship game

Orange, CA – December 9, 2017 -Orange High School pulled out victory beating Caruthers by 46-43 in overtime on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 in a CIF Southern California Regional Division 6-AA championship football game at Fred Kelly Stadium. The team was awarded a regional championship football plaque and advanced to the state football championship game. “These kids are so resilient,” said Orange coach Robert Pedroza, who on Thursday was named Los Angeles Chargers’ Orange County coach of the year. “They battle, through all obstacles, it doesn’t matter.” Coach Pedroza said the team is hungry for another game and another championship. “We got one more in us,” he said. “For sure.” For more game information,
