Clay Stiles Named Top Teacher in Orange County by Parenting OC

ORANGE, CA — February 19, 2015 — El Modena High School teacher Clay Stiles has been named Top Teacher of Orange County by the magazine Parenting OC. He will appear on the cover of the March 2015 issue and a full-page article will be devoted to him inside.

“We at El Modena are very proud to have Clay chosen as the Top Teacher of Orange County by Parenting OC,” said Principal Dustin Saxton. “He has a positive attitude and ALWAYS believes that students can succeed.”

As a credit recovery teacher, Stiles provides El Modena students with the individualized attention and intervention they need to get back on track to academic success. He can also be found collaborating with the Special Education Department to masterfully support students with special needs. No matter the issue at hand, Stiles works with students to determine what they need to do to help them accomplish their goals.

“Clay’s colleagues admire the way he teaches and often seek his counsel when they need advice about a particular student,” continued Saxton. “He is truly an asset to El Modena’s school community.”

Parenting OC annually recognizes outstanding teachers in its March issue. This year’s featured Top 25 Teachers of OC were chosen out of a pool of candidates nominated by their school’s administration.
