“YOU’VE GOT THE EDGE” Employee of the Month Recognition program has been designed with the District’s Core Values in mind. This program encourages outstanding customer service in the workplace in fulfillment of the District’s new Strategic Plan. It increases awareness of the goals and values as well as the importance and significance of outstanding performance.
Certificated and Classified employees who have been nominated by their peers, co-workers, and/or supervisors are selected for exemplifying the following core values:

Maribell Rodriguez, Sr. Staff Clerk, Yorba Middle School
Maribell goes above and beyond to serve the staff, students, and community of Yorba Middle School. She always has a positive attitude and takes time to help anyone that needs her assistance.
Sandra Preciado-Martin, Principal, Yorba Middle School had this to say about Maribell: I have had the pleasure of getting to know Maribel for the past year. In that year, she has proven herself to be a role model employee. She is dedicated to her job responsibilities, our students, community and staff. A highly professional employee, Maribel has greatly contributed to the attendance interventions programs that have assisted Yorba MS in communicating the importance of daily attendance within our community. She has embraced Yorba's standard of excellence in all she does. We are truly fortunate that she is and always will be a Toro!
