Congratulations Mary! Mary goes above and beyond to serve the staff, students, and community of Orange Unified. She always greets everyone with a positive attitude and takes time to help anyone that needs her assistance.
Bree Tippets, Principal, Canyon Rim Elementary had this to say about Mary: "Mary is a key contributor to the success of the Canyon Rim Roadrunners! She helps our students fulfill their role as students by supporting their academic achievement and promoting positive behaviors necessary for learning. Ms. Mary supports academic and non-academic outcomes, including social skills, math, reading and writing, behavior management, recess, self-help skills, prevocational/vocational participation, and more. Because of her expertise in activity and environmental analysis, Mary is skilled in facilitating student access to curricular and extracurricular activities. She focuses on our students’ strengths and designs and implements programming to improve inclusion and accessibility, such as Universal Design for Learning. Additionally, she plays a critical role in educating parents, educators, administrators, and other staff members. She offers services along a continuum of prevention, promotion, and intervention and serves individual students, groups of students, whole classrooms, and whole school initiatives. She collaborates within our education team to support student success!"
