Sharon Davis, Director of Pensions and Payroll at Business Services was recognized with an EDGE Challenge Coin by Assistant Superintendent, David Rivera, for exemplifying the district’s core values of Integrity, Respect, and Excellence, as well as her superior performance in aligning her actions to support the OUSD strategic plan Focus Area 1.0: Excellence in Academics and Leadership.
David Rivera shared the following comment about Sharon:
"As a result of Mrs. Davis's leadership, the payroll office has been able to function with a high level of accuracy and efficiency during the pandemic and meet the needs of our employees throughout the district. While this would be a noteworthy accomplishment in and of itself given the challenges posed by the pandemic, it is even more so as the department was short-staffed. In addition, Mrs. Davis is well known for treating all employees with kindness and respect."
