Peggy Land, Accounting Technician I at Accounting was recognized with an EDGE Challenge Coin by Marie Nguyen, Accounting Manager, for exemplifying the district’s core values of Integrity, Equity, Respect, and Excellence, as well as her superior performance in aligning her actions to support the OUSD strategic plan Focus Area 2.0: Dedicated and Engaged Communication.
Marie Ngyuen shared the following comment about Peggy:
Peggy has been with the District for 15 years. I had the pleasure of working with her as an Associated Student Body (ASB) Bookkeeper when I was the District Accountant in 2010. She then joined the Business Services team as an Accounting Technician a few years later. Peggy is diligent, hard-working, and a caring team player. She's always willing to help when needed and go the extra mile with a smile. Peggy exemplifies the core values of integrity, equity, respect, and excellence in her work and interaction with everyone she comes in contact with. I'm fortunate to have such a dedicated staff on our team.
