Katie Zeich, ELA/ELD Teacher at Yorba Middle School, was recognized by Assistant Principal Paula Torres with an EDGE Challenge Coin for exemplifying the Core Values of Integrity, Equity, Respect, and Excellence.
Paula Torres had this to say about Katie:
Recently, we had a vacancy that needed to be filled immediately and Mrs. Zeich stepped up to the plate and took on the role of our new ELD Coach and Instructional Leader for her ELD department. In addition to these assignments, Mrs. Zeich has taken on the roles as our CAASPP Coordinator, AVID Teacher, Volleyball Coach, and even started our school’s Running Club.
