DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO PIE SOMEONE IN THE FACE? – Sure you do! Come out to the Quad during lunch on FRIDAY! Red Cross will be holding a pie-throwing contest! $1 for 1 pie and $3 for 4 pies! AMAZING!!!

 

ATTN: STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THE UCI HS CONFERENCE! –The first 50 students who return their permission slips filled out correctly will be able to attend. Bring your completed forms to Mrs. Nieva in the library TODAY!

 

NEED A SCHOLARSHIP? – Cal State Fullerton Army ROTC is offering scholarships in different majors. Including Engineering and Nursing. Information is available in the library.

 

FRESHMAN CABINET – are selling freshman T-Shirts for $7.00 TODAY during nutrition. So, bring $7 and buy a T-Shirt at the Student Center!

 

2009 RED RIBBON WEEK – Is officially kicked off this SATURDAY at the Block in Orange from 2-8pm with Rock ‘N Road! The event is all about teen driving safety and underage drinking prevention. Rock ‘N Road targets teens but offers something for all ages with the Battle of the Bands, KIIS FM’s Fat Daniel on stage, give-away items, important and useful information at lots of resource tables, fun activities, and the Battle of the Banners. Local students will be recognized during the event!

 

PANTHERS!!! – Don’t forget to come support your Football Team for our Homecoming game. TOMORROW night at Fred Kelly Stadium, 7:00pm.

 

LAST CHANCE!!! – To get your photo for the yearbook will be on FRIDAY, October 23rd from 12:30pm-4:00pm in the Theatre foyer. This will be for ALL-students, faculty and seniors!

 

ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB MEMBERS! – There will be a meeting TOMORROW in Room 110 during lunch. Bring your dues and a t-shirt to decorate. Also, bring in any shoes to recycle for our Global Treads program. Anyone can bring any shoes to Room 110 to help out!

 

TOMORROW!!! – Show your school spirit, Freshmen wear green. Sophomores wear white. Juniors wear Black and Seniors wear Orange!

 

BLOOD DRIVE – The ASB is taking sign-ups for the Blood Drive being held at OHS on THURSDAY, October 30th. To volunteer, you must be at least 17 years old and have the parent permission slip signed. Girls must weigh at least 120lbs and boys 110lbs. See an ASB student to sign up and remember; your blood can save a life!

 

 

 

 

ATTN: SENIORS! – If you have not turned in your Senior Resume to the Counseling Office yet, please do so right away! The counselors are nominating Seniors for scholarships and awards and they need the information from your resume in order to nominate you! Don’t delay!

 

COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES – The following college representative will be in the library this week, during lunch. Please stop by with your questions.

EXTENDED LIBRARY HOURS! – There is tutoring help in all levels of Math, Science,

History and English available in the Library everyday from 3-6pm.

 

MATH TUTORING – Don’t know a parabola from a paramecium? Need a little extra help in Math? There is tutoring available in all levels of math from Algebra to Calculus. Just stop by Room 311 at 3:00pm.

 

SATURDAY LIBRARY HOURS – The library will be open for tutoring in all subjects from 9-noon every Saturday.
