HEY PANTHERS! – What better way to spend a Friday afternoon then on the baseball field cheering on your Panthers! Come down to the field TODAY at 3:00 and watch your varsity baseball team battle it out against Savanna and your freshman team as they take on Katella.

 

CONGRATULATIONS! – To the boys tennis team who defeated Tustin yesterday with a score of 12 to 6! Stevie Phifer, Dwight Taylor and Ricky Bobby Lee were undefeated in singles! Tabare Valero and Gerry Barragan excelled in doubles. Come out to the tennis courts today at 3:00 and support your Panther tennis team as they take on Fullerton High School. See you there!

 

DO YOU WANT TO BE A CHEERLEADER? – Come join us next week for cheer clinics! You will learn the basics and get you prepared for cheer tryouts. For more information or to sign up go to Room 603!

 

TRUANCY INTERVENTIONS! – Don’t be left out of Prom, Senior Activities or Graduation! Remember seniors, ALL fines and detentions MUST be cleared before you can attend any event! Everyone should check the Truancy List outside of Room 300 and be sure to have ALL your truancies cleared in time for all the fun!

 

LADIES, LADIES, LADIES! – It is time for Sadies! Sadies 2010’s theme is Time Warp. On March 19th come in any era you want! From cavemen to futuristic, be creative. The dance will be held from 7-10pm. Clubs will sell food and games for your entertainment. Come see Mr. & Mrs. Panther announce. First Period class winner gets in for FREE! We will also have a very special performance by our Orange Idol Winner! All proceeds go towards the Penny Drive. Tickets are $5 per person or $3 w/ASB discount.

 

ATTN: SENIORS! – Are you planning to attend Santiago Canyon College next fall? Juana Galvan, EOPS representative, will be in the library on TUESDAY morning to provide financial aid information.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS!!! – Six Scholarships of $1000.00 each will be awarded from the Enrique Camarena Foundation in San Diego for High School seniors who demonstrate a positive lifestyle, free of drugs and alcohol. Deadline for this scholarship is April 1, 2010. Please see Mrs. Nieva in the library for more information.

 

SATURDAY LIBRARY HOURS: - The library will be open for tutoring in all subjects from 9 to 12pm every Saturday.

 

COSMETOLOGY CLUB: - Interested in learning everyday beauty secrets from choosing the right make-up to picking the perfect hair color? Stop by the cafeteria every Monday and Tuesday from 4-5pm and join the Cosmetology Club.
