HEY PANTHERS!!! – Come out TONIGHT and support your Lady Panthers in the dome as they face Segerstrom High School. We want to “Blackout” the crowd, so please dress in all black. Free OHS Basketball T-Shirts will be given out to the first few lucky students that show up at game time w/an ASB Card!!!

ATTN: ALL MECHA MEMBERS! – There will be a meeting on TODAY during lunch in the Little Theatre.

DON’T FORGET! – The Valentine Dance is this FRIDAY, February 5^th at 7:00pm. Tickets will be sold during lunch by the Student Center or after school in Room 404 w/Mrs. Ochoa. Couples are $11, w/ASB $6 and w/out ASB $7. Hurry buy yours today!

ATTN: ALL NHS MEMBERS! – Please turn in your unicef boxes for Haiti this FRIDAY! Please turn them to any NHS board member. I repeat, turn in your unicef boxes for Haiti by FRIDAY to any NHS board member!

ATTN: ALL STUDENTS! – Buy your yearbook now! The deadline to purchase a guaranteed book is FRIDAY! Cost is $95. Any extra books will be sold for $100 in June and there is a limited quantity…first come, first served! Pay Mrs. Mitchell in Room 300.

VERY IMPORTANT, SENIORS!!! – ALL Senior names are posted by the attendance office. Seniors, PLEASE check the spelling of your name. This is how it will appear on your Diploma!! Name corrections MUST be made w/Mrs. Hatch in Room 101 by April 30^th!

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN TEACHING? – Santiago Canyon College is presenting a Future Teacher Conference on FRIDAY, March 26^th from 8:30am-1:00pm. Interested juniors and seniors, please see Mrs. Nieva in the library to sign up.

ATTN: ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN TAKING AN ONLINE CLASS IN FALL: - The online teachers will be doing presentations highlighting their courses on THURSDAY, February 11^th in the Little Theatre during 2^nd period. You must sign up in the Counseling Office to attend!

RED CROSS CLUB! – Red Cross members, if you still need to pick up more Haiti Ribbon supplies, please come to the ASB Student Center during lunch.

NEED COMMUNITY HOURS? – Portola needs bilingual students to volunteer to translate for Spanish-speaking parents TONIGHT from 5-7pm. This opportunity would not only fulfill Community Service hours, but is a nice addition to any resume! If you are interested, please see Mrs. Conn in Room 300 to sign up TODAY!

ATTN: SENIORS! – If you have a Cal Grant Information Release Form to turn in, be sure to turn it in to Mrs. Perez in Room 300 NO later than THURSDAY, February 25^th. This form allows OHS to upload your GPA to Cal Grant. Don’t be left out, take your form to Room 300!

TELL US THE GOOD NEWS!!! – Seniors, if you have received college acceptance letters, please tell Mrs. Maize in Room 300.

SPANISH TUTORING: - Need some help in Spanish? No hay problema! Stop by Room T-7 on Tuesday or Thursday from 3-5pm.

MATH TUTORING: - Don’t know a parabola from a paramecium? Need a little extra help in Math? There is tutoring available in all levels of math from Algebra to Calculus. Just stop by Room 311 at 3:00pm.

SATURDAY LIBRARY HOURS: - The library will be open for tutoring in all subjects from 9am to 12pm every Saturday!
